TCI’s Community Involvement Applauded in B2B Awards Show
Community involvement has been important to our team at TCI since our founding in 2013. Giving back is part of our core values. So, when we learned we were being recognized for it by our friends at JUST Global, we couldn’t contain our excitement! You see, they just hosted their 2nd Annual Dick Reed Awards and we’re thrilled to announce we won their award for Most Committed to Community!
As we thought back to some of the fun stuff we’ve done to earn this recognition, we couldn’t help but smile at the memories we’ve created together as a team. Armed with trash bags and gloves, we’ve made friendly competitions out of cleaning up San Bruno’s streets for Earth Day. Because many folks on our team love to read, we’ve donated more than a thousand books to the Children’s Book Project of San Francisco. We’ve given tons of food and raised thousands of dollars for our friends at the Second Harvest Food Bank to help families in our community struggling with food insecurity – something we know to be more of a problem now during the pandemic than ever. Given our mission to make marketers’ jobs easier, we’re also happy to support team members who want to help women in technology marketing by sponsoring the The Lady Tech Marketer Podcast. On the show, Emily Hill (corporate marketing) and Liana Wong (sales and business operations) talk with women in our industry about their careers – they not only celebrate their successes, but get their advice for other women in tech marketing who want to grow their careers too.
As you can see, giving back to our community is incredibly important to our team, and we have lots of fun together doing it! Big thanks to JUST for awarding us Most Committed to Community. It’s an honor to be recognized for something we love to do anyway. Want to join us for our next fundraiser or community service adventure?
