Peter Ostrow
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Peter is a well-traveled mountaineer. When he’s not climbing mountains and exploring the wilderness, he keeps TCI Lead Gen out of the woods. He has a ton of publishing and advertising experience at both startups and large corporations – including being Managing Director of The New York Times Magazine. In addition to mentoring all of us, he teaches e-commerce management at UC Santa Cruz and regularly speaks at noteworthy business conventions. Peter holds a B.A. from Washington University and an M.B.A. from New York University. He is also an expert on all things wine, a serious coffee aficionado, and can probably beat the whole staff in tennis or golf… Well, Jeff might disagree about the golf part.
Jeffrey Wheeler
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jeff likes to play golf. Sometimes he plays with Peter. If you’d like to hear who is better, please come by our office and we can all figure it out. Speaking of which, that’s what Jeff does for our business. No matter how fast we’re growing or how many new needs we have, Jeff figures out a way to make it work. But we’re not surprised. Jeff has held senior finance roles at Sierra Financial Group, Wells Fargo, Logistics Management, Inc. and BiRite Food Service Company. He was also CEO and CFO at an international teleservices company called Zacson Corporation, where he basically quadrupled revenue. Jeff holds a B.S. in finance from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
JohnHenry Giddings
GENERAL MANAGER
JH is TCI Lead Gen’s first employee. Since launching the group, we’ve grown into a new office and dozens of people – and JH does his best to let the rest of us take the wheel. When he’s not at the office, he likes to race cars, where he gets the steering wheel all to himself. JH has worked in marketing and lead gen in the automotive and financial services industries, as well as in technology. He has led teams at PR Newswire, InformationWeek, and Light Reading. JH holds a B.A. from the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada.
Sudip Barman
VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING
Sudip loves to spend time with his family outside of work – especially when that includes going for bike rides, or building robots and Minecraft mods with his son. You can tell from what he does in his free time that Sudip is super smart and patient, and he uses these same skills at work every day. He built the engineering team and infrastructure for our parent company from scratch, and he is doing it again for us at TCI Lead Gen. Boy, are we grateful for all of his experience and knowledge! Sudip holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Pune and University of Mumbai, respectively, as well as an M.B.A. from San Francisco State.
Kevin Bennett
VICE PRESIDENT
Away from work, you can find Kevin in just about any body of water – listening to the waves of the ocean while surfing, or the current of the river while fly fishing. Kevin has a natural talent for listening. At work, he listens to our clients every day to figure out how we can make things easier for them. Kevin has led teams and worked with B2B clients at PR Newswire, InformationWeek, and Geeknet. He is employee #2 at TCI Lead Gen and helps with everything from our sales efforts to product development. Kevin holds a B.A. from the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada.
Emily Hill
MANAGER, CORPORATE MARKETING
Emily is always up to something – whether that is kayak camping, running a race, singing her heart out, or reading in the sun. She is a busy bee inside and outside of work, and is always striving to move us forward. Emily has been with us since the early days and always made sure our clients did gangbusters when she ran operations. Now, she heads up corporate marketing – pulling the strings on everything from marketing campaigns to events to this nifty website. She has improved marketing operations at large companies and start-ups alike, in both the consumer services and technology industries at Clark Pest Control and Axcient. Emily holds a B.S. in anthropology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Travis Wheeler
MANAGER, PROGRAM OPERATIONS TEAM
When Travis isn’t at work, he is playing golf or cheering on his Bay Area sports teams, along with his Alma Mater, The University of Arizona Wildcats. Here at TCI Lead Gen, he leads our program operations team in running bang-up marketing programs for our clients. He’s always pushing to make our clients happy – he’s their biggest fan. Travis was with our parent company, Technical Communities, as a Marketing Manager for over three years before jumping on our team. He has a real estate development degree with a minor in business.
Plamen Marinov
MANAGER, DATA PROCESSING AND PRODUCTION
Winter is Plamen’s playground. When there is snow on the ground, he’s in the backcountry snowmobiling around to find the best snowboard runs, or riding the runs he’s scouted. He uses the same know-how to figure out the best routes to victory for our clients here at TCI Lead Gen. He started here by managing our call center, and quickly built that into a well-oiled data-processing and lead production team. Plamen managed a call center from the ground up at Andy’s Auto Sport for eight years prior to joining TCI Lead Gen. Plamen holds a B.S. in business from San Jose State.
